The Transformation to My Own Sacred Power.

My story begins with a career aligned with the benefits of talk therapy, and evolves into a slow realization that my clients - and I - needed a more embodied approach for true healing.

I spent my early career at Brigham & Women's Hospital, supporting patients and families through cardiac transplant and heart failure. This work instilled in me a need for a calm presence and compassionate care during life's most vulnerable moments. For well over a decade, I maintained a private psychotherapy practice serving adults ages 18 to 75, offering both short-term and long-term care for trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions.

In 2008 my desire to expand my work led me to the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy for a year long certification program. Years of continued education in body-centered and trauma-informed techniques in Somatics, Bioenergetic Analysis, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Meditation and Reiki followed throughout my career. Most recently, I enrolled in and graduated from Inward Bound Mindfulness teacher training in 2022 and Naropa’s Center for Psychedelic Studies in 2025. I am currently on track to be a certified Somatic Coach by the Strozzi Institute for Somatics.

My own plant medicine journeys showed me that our bodies know the way through crises more than our minds do. This awakening prompted me to help clients find their own embodied, sacred power to unleash their true aliveness. My belief is that by doing this work, I am helping to create a more loving, kind and peaceful world for the benefit of us all as interconnected people and communities. My commitment to my clients is that I will honor our collective sacred power by feeling the full range of emotions in my own life, as a way to help others connect with their own.
